This year’s E3 was definitely an improvement over last years. Armchair attending the conference was fun, enjoying some new game announcements and getting some new footage of games I’m excited about. Here’s my thoughts on the Microsoft [link] , Nintendo [link] and Sony [link] press conferences. They are only almost a week late!

I saw the whole thing (Even all the stuff that wasn't announced publicly on E3). Definitely better than last year by a mile. Double that for Nintendo as well.

A lot of there stuff looks promising let's hope we get some of this soon (Unlikely).

Yeah, Nintendo at least showed some games I care about this year, which was an improvement over last years conference. The other two looked to have some great things coming, and I'm still looking forward to a lot of third party games (like Mass Effect 2, Brutal Legend and Scribblenauts). Overall, it was a definite improvement this year.

I hate you so much. I only found out E3 was in the same city as me the day it ended. At 8PM. Ugh, why'd it have to end on Thursday and not Friday?

It's funny, I could have sworn a couple years ago, the word going around was "this is the last E3, there will be no more E3 ever," and the requisite wailing and gnashing of teeth that such an announcement must bring.

Metroid: Other M is really a tough call considering the score.

Tomonobu Itagaki, is no longer employed at Tecmo and was the team leader of Team Ninja. IE; gave the thumbs up/red lighted features that gave Team Ninja their reputation when it came to females. He also said in multiple interviews his thoughts on sexing up female characters, more is better.

Many members of Team Ninja left Tecmo as well so the current team isn't the same as past Ninja Gaiden/DOA fame.

I'm curious about how the game is going to turn out because it's the first Team Ninja game to be released since Itagaki/Team Members/Tecmo Koei merger had occured.

That said, I won't be one bit surprised if there's a mode with Samus in her Zero Suit with a little too much "jiggly", be it unlocked or an option.

Aside from tinkering with the wiiSpeak to make into a headset, my only gripe about Nintendo right now is that New samus seems to be in third person.

But not side scrolling, godamnit when will Nintendo pay respect where its due to the old fans! I'll still pick it up though.

I just made you read out loud in your head. How do you feel?

I'm sure there will still be a new side scroller. There still is the long rumored Metroid Dread, which I am hoping takes place after Fusion. This one is supposed to be a prequel to Fusion, so that should be cool.

And after last years E3, everyone pretty much wrote it off as dead. It's not quite back to its former glory, but a definite improvement.
